well just got this as an additional for my DH 9053, did do the mods on it, drilled the hole on leading for air for the PCB and no weight on this one particular as I setup the DH 9053 for a keychain spycamera and the additional weight in the nose will need to be sufficient for the flying forword.
Update 1/15/2012
all mods performed, new tail rotor from sky king 8500, did the blade swap, new balance bar from 9077, modest weight in front nose of canopy, got the 9101 batteries they are a bit higher amp, flew these days two full 7-10 minute flights in slight 4-5 mph breeze, flew amazing had to compensate for the wind but excellent sufficient now do do rapid 180 degree swish turns, the new tail is the perfect, but have to take take care that now it will simple and easy go passed the 45 degree pitch forward on the quick mode, but now you fly the helo and not the wind, this and my DH 9104 are the most entertaining, had 4 perfect flights with each at present, two every and landed them excellent. its also good to go residence with no busted parts, by the way the 9101 is a updated version of this one particular, has a lot of the mods accomplished only thing to do on the 9101 is I would still get the 9077 balance bar and the Sky king tail rotor, maintain in thoughts the 9101 makes use of the tail rotor off the 9104 so its at a completely different pitch so if you go with any other tail rotor you might have to rewire the rear tail motor I had to, for me straightforward, cut the wires reverse them solder them a bit of tape, bang its working excellent.
