I have a compact squadron of mini helicopters and this one particular is by far the very best so far. I read outstanding critiques of the Syma S107. I was very pleased with it compared to some of the older Syma models. Then I saw the positive testimonials for this and believed I would give it a go. It flies extremely properly! Quiter than the other seven helicopters I have and so stable, smooth, and responsive. It is a tiny slow with forward and reverse momentum, but not bad. Slow is simpler to control...maybe that was intentional. We fly these just about every day in the workplace and this hands down outperforms everthing else.

Heard the S108G Cobra is decent too but have not tried it. My deployment to Iraq is just about more than, so I likely won't be buying any extra toys.
What a distinction a gyro makes! Amazing...I tried one particular of the 1st gen micro R/C copters (no gyro on those) not extended soon after they came out, and discovered them to be quite troublesome to manage and not much entertaining given that of it.
This generation with the gyro is just extraordinary although...SO stable, SO simple - but not boring. There is nevertheless a learning curve for total R/C noobies that will make this a outstanding very first R/C copter, but I look at it nearly like a challenge...trying to master this little beast is Entertaining!
This also actually looks like a true helicopter, compared to the ones I purchased previously, which looked like....properly like R/C copters - totally unrealistic.
The LED lights are awesome so you can fly at night (my children Really like that - the dog...not so substantially), and the issue even seems to behave like a genuine helicopter, with ground impact and getting to lessen speed (thrust?) to tilt forward (I am no pilot or physicist, but I do know that the earlier models I tried did not give me any sort of sense of "this factor FEELS like I am flying a authentic helicopter!")
Gonna cease now because I sound like I work for the company (not even confident who the provider is in fact, but whoever it is, they sorely will need an English native to write the English part of the instruction manual!)

FYI if you are interested in modding your Syma (particularly, the low cost, straightforward and awesome tail rotor mod that makes it more quickly and much more agile), you really should decide to purchase the model that looks like the R/C copter (107G I think).
