I got this to mod my S107g. This balance bar has removable weights.
I read that a lighter balance bar would let for more responsive vertical changes, as the most important rotor could modify speeds more quickly with less weight to spin up and down.
With the weights out, it was a tiny unbalanced even though. I put to use a title bit of tissue paper to balance it out.
This worked as described and actually gave much more responsive forward/backward adjustments as properly, but with some side effects. Since the bar is lighter, it acts much less as an gyroscope and corrects it really is horizontal leveling quicker than before. This causes the helicopter to "swing" back, slightly, the way it came following stops and limits the total distance of forward movement to about ten feet prior to it "swings" back. Even if you nevertheless have forward on complete. This got old quick and I place the weights back in.
