Buyer Critiques

So..... Myself and various co-workers decided to make these helicopters component of our down time although more than right here in the middle of nowhere... We have many around the store right now, and I purchased this 1...... the other guys all spent about $20 on theirs.... the Syma 107, 108 and 109... that is the Sport, Cobra, and Apache... and I spent $40 on this one particular when it was on sale (now it is $50). This ones handling does not even come close to comparing to theirs... I read up alot more on the evaluations, and for some purpose absolutely everyone says it is good, but I'm thinking they've just under no circumstances tried the Symas. I even ordered one more knuckle that holds the stabilizer bar to the top rated rotor, (only came with one), in hopes that it could make it even more stable and manageable.. it did not... Also, after crashing about 15 times, the tail rotor snapped off at the bottom of the curve... I superglued it back on about four instances, and then drilled holes on either side of the crack and safety wired it back on, and superglued once more :) gotta say, it has held up properly just after all the crashes, and it is manageable to fly, and IT SHOOTS MISSLES which is the main benefit over the Symas........... but general.... the Symas are unquestionably extra agile, and quickly controlled (3 I named anyways), and the batteries final a little longer, and they are WAY quieter, and for less than half the value, I believe I would have just gone with one of those.
I upped it to a four star, only given that it has withstood a important beating, and it shoots missles. It did demand the repair of the tail rotor tho, and it does not handle as fantastic as it must for the price tag. and it's loud.

I owned the Syma 108 ahead of I purchased this 1. My critique will compare amongst the two.
Cons:
1)Compared to Syma this one flies like a fat cow. Rotating left and ideal is particularly responsive but forward and reverse takes like 5 seconds to kick in immediately after you move the control which is genuinely annoying and prone to crashes. The altitude adjustment response is also poor.
2)This a single is much noisier. Sounds like a flying lawnmower.
three)Also the left throttle implemented to manage altitude is not spring loaded to throttle down when released like Syma which makes it harder to manage the altitude. (A small workaround of tying a rubber band to the throttle stick and anchoring the other finish on the bottom of the controller helped. This keeps the tension on the throttle in the downward direction, which automatically pulls the throttle down when you release. This helps control the altitude a lot far better.)
four)Nearly double the price of Syma.
Pros:
1)Fires Missiles!
Not so enjoyable for my cat but super enjoyable for me. I'm planing to modify the mechanism to hopefully squirt water as an alternative.
I wish the Syma had this option.
2)Well constructed. The supplies utilised to make this 1 feel far more solid then the Syma.
