The great:

I got this in the mail these days and I have to say it looks far better in individual the white and gold look extremely sleek (5 stars for it is looks). I read some beneficial reviews about this helicopter on the net and decided it would be a good upgrade from my two channel propel mini rc heli which performs well and has gone 2 years and hundreds upon hundreds of crashes without having breaking once. But enough about my old heli, the 107g is a wonderful mini helicopter it really is three.5 channel manage allows the pilot to control lift, left and right turning, and forward / reverse which is awesome! 5 stars for getting an affordable 3.five channel heli. The top quality of this heli is good, the manufacturer certainly spared no expense in employing fantastic parts on this great tiny heli(5 stars for superior). I've crashed it a handful of occasions and it doesn't show a single scratch, I give durability 4 stars given that I've barely owned it

The Negative:

In all honesty, this heli performs exactly as it will need to. My only complaint is that the heli isn't really fast out of the box. Thinking about it really is an indoor helicopter, slower speeds are definitely a good function for those who haven't mastered the controls. This can't seriously be considered a significant complaint contemplating how quickly it can be modified to enable more rapidly speeds for significantly more advanced flyers (next section).

Mods:

1.) Following reading about getting aftermarket rotor blades, spinning the rotor upside down, and so on etc, I decided to basically remove a handful of pieces of the helicopter. I removed the two bars and the piece connecting them to the tail bar, along with the tail fin (not to be confused with the rotor). This does a handful of items: 1) lowers weight of the helicopter two) increases energy (due to weight loss) three) increases battery life (due to weight loss) 4) tends to make the heli considerably more quickly and alot more responsive. Please note that the heli will be a lot faster than just before, but it will be slightly less stable due to the lowered weight and improved speeds. Take it very easy the first couple of instances about the living room, it will take some obtaining use to.

2.) If your a speed freak and want the fastest s107g out there then you can also remove the landing bars. I do not recommend this for a modest inside location as it can make it tough to navigate around furniture and tight spaces. I would suggest this for many people who fly in significant indoor locations or outside as the speed improve can be fun. If that's not quickly adequate for you, then you can attempt the rotor flipping mod and replace the stock rotor with some fancy aftermarket one. If that isn't fast adequate then, beneficial for you, you have a property the size of a football field. :p

The 107g is a awesome mini rc helicopter, looks superb, flies superb, has fantastic stability. It is a small slow out of the box, but that can effortlessly be fixed (see mods section above).
