So..... Myself and a number of co-workers decided to make these helicopters portion of our down time while over right here in the middle of nowhere... We have quite a few around the shop appropriate now, and I purchased this 1...... the other guys all spent about $20 on theirs.... the Syma 107, 108 and 109... that is the Sport, Cobra, and Apache... and I spent $40 on this 1 when it was on sale (now it's $50). This ones handling does not even come close to comparing to theirs... I study up significantly more on the evaluations, and for some cause every person says it's outstanding, but I am thinking they've just in no way tried the Symas. I even ordered a further knuckle that holds the stabilizer bar to the leading rotor, (only came with one), in hopes that it may possibly make it more stable and manageable.. it did not... Also, immediately after crashing about 15 occasions, the tail rotor snapped off at the bottom of the curve... I superglued it back on about four instances, and then drilled holes on either side of the crack and safety wired it back on, and superglued again :) gotta say, it has held up nicely following all the crashes, and it is manageable to fly, and IT SHOOTS MISSLES which is the important benefit more than the Symas........... but general.... the Symas are certainly a lot more agile, and very easily controlled (three I named anyways), and the batteries last a tiny longer, and they are WAY quieter, and for much less than half the cost, I consider I would have just gone with a single of those.
I upped it to a four star, only mainly because it has withstood a key beating, and it shoots missles. It did need the repair of the tail rotor tho, and it doesn't deal with as fine as it will need to for the value. and it is loud.

I owned the Syma 108 just before I bought this 1. My assessment will evaluate between the two.
Cons:
1)Compared to Syma this one particular flies like a fat cow. Rotating left and proper is highly responsive but forward and reverse takes like 5 seconds to kick in immediately after you move the manage which is honestly annoying and prone to crashes. The altitude adjustment response is also poor.
two)This a single is considerably noisier. Sounds like a flying lawnmower.
3)Also the left throttle put to use to manage altitude is not spring loaded to throttle down when released like Syma which makes it harder to manage the altitude. (A small workaround of tying a rubber band to the throttle stick and anchoring the other end on the bottom of the controller helped. This keeps the tension on the throttle in the downward path, which automatically pulls the throttle down when you release. This helps manage the altitude significantly superior.)
4)Virtually double the cost of Syma.
Pros:
1)Fires Missiles!
Not so fun for my cat but super fun for me. I'm planing to modify the mechanism to hopefully squirt water rather.
I wish the Syma had this selection.
two)Well constructed. The materials utilized to make this one particular feel even more solid then the Syma.
