Consumer Reviews
Just got these tiny guys at present. They are a good sized heli for indoor use, a bit larger than I thought they would be (thankfully) I believe they are superb fun and pretty properly built. The most important reason I decide on these was the advantage of replacement parts for the stuff that you generally end up break while you are mastering to fly. The notion of two was to be in a position to have two of us playing at the same time. The problem is each of the heli's that came to me are on the channel and I can't find anyway to alter the heli itself. Whilst slightly fun to attempt to make each of the heli's fly with the exact same control, it doesn't genuinely function. Although both choppers work really well correct out of the box (soon after a short charging time), they just can not be flown at the exact same time. The site does say that the they may have unique frequencys but you would believe that given that they are promoting two together that they would make confident to package two that can fly at the exact same time. This implies to most people that you can readily fly one til it begins to get low on energy, shut it off and fly the other one particular for awhile. This works superb and provides you more time to study to fly these fantastic little toys. It kinda almost tends to make you wonder if the pilots of the real thing ever flew their choppers into a wall a few minutes immediately after take off:-)
I received these Helicopters a couple of days ago. Flew each of them proper out of the box. Had challenges with the second Heli findig the frequency at to begin with. Each remotes were set to distinct frequencies. They at some point worked soon after a series of cycling the power of each the controller and the heli.
Following two full flights of the YELLOW helicopter, the lower blade stopped rotating. I took a beneficial look at how anything is supposed to work on the red heli and determined there was a manufacturing defect on the yellow 1. The drive gear for the forward motor was placed too high on the shaft. The 1st small bump shifted the drive gear just enough to knock it out of alignment and hence couldnt drive the propeller shaft gears. I took the heli apart straightforward enough and slid the drive gear down into the correct position. Reassembled and as great or improved than new. Just a note, if you do disassemble, make sure you do so on a table or one thing. It's a pain attempting to locate one particular of those tiny screws in carpet.
I have had up to 8-ten minutes of flight chasing my dog keeping the helicopter a foot off the floor. How substantially turning and how high you fly will extend or shorten your flight time. I discover I am about half throttle most of the time.
All in all these are enjoyable tiny helicopters and I cannot wait to move into the bigger helicopter categories.
